2000 toyota tundra drivetrain vibration. About 45 mph the front end shakes like crazy. It haa been making some bad noises for a while now. I have fixed more vibrations with tire concerns than all others combinedThings to try.

My reason for the questions is that I too have a driveline vibration that I am trying to solve. The 1st time out on regular city streets at. I now have 2000 miles on it and nothing has changed.

The support bearing was bad on the drive shaft so I had that and all the u-joints replaced and the shaft rebalanced. A few months after that I took it into the dealer to get the driveshaft replaced for the bump. Piston slap in the 54 L and also a vibration problem similar to the Tundra and Silverado.

Joined Dec 6 2007 22 Posts 4 Dec 6. Still has the vibration. Truck is a 2011 Toyota Tundra with 66000 miles.

I dont feel this vibration in the steering wheel but I did. I reported it repeatedly to the dealer and each time they said they couldnt duplicate the problem. I cant believe that this is finally fixed.
