Toyota Tundra Bilstein 5100 Install

Discussion Starter 1 Oct 4 2016 Edited I recently put on a set of Nitto Terra Grappler G2s 2856518 and I got the 5100s installed from a friend of a friend.

Toyota tundra bilstein 5100 install. I figured I would post this up for other noobs like myself. Well I bought all 4 bilstein 5100 shocks and tried to install the fronts over the weekend. Bilstein 5100 087-228 adjustable front 0-1 rear lift shocks for 2007-2021 Toyota Tundra.

I have front and rear but will probably only get the fronts done unless it goes fast. Multiple snap-ring grooves allows different spring seat positions allowing 0 stock height to 25 of front end lift. I am installing some Bilstein 5100s on my 2010 Tundra DC today.

I worked 4 hours on the first front corner and couldnt get them in. We have been getting a lot of request for more install videos. I did a lot of searching and there was a lot of mixed information and what not so I wanted to have this thread so others know first hand it can be done and some pictures for proof.

I have been reading all the threads I can find on the DIY installwish me luck. I used original bottom bolt and nut and all top bushingsplates but used supplied nut from 5100 kit for the top mount. I requested the shocks be set on the highest setting.
