Toyota Tundra Defrost Not Working

All heater cores are a pain in the rear to get to not just Toyotas.

Toyota tundra defrost not working. It has been that way since 07. Need help mattb 1. Thats not entirely true but at best the heater in the Gen2 Tundra does leave a lot to be desired.

I have a 2012 Limited w power and heated mirrors and the passenger mirror defrost appears to have stopped working. I can manually move the vents position from the box under the dash that the cable is connected to but not from the knob connected to the control panel. I have the 2001 SR5 rainy day today trying to turn on the rear defrost. Windshield will not defrost Discussion in 2nd Gen. There is a dot on the upper corner left that clears frost to the size of a quarter but the main defrost ability in the middle of the mirror appears to not be working.

I check my cabin filter replace the ac control knob or panel and still nothing. It seems like Toyota designed the system for the RC cab and didnt allow for the extra needed to make the DC and CM cabs comfortable. With engine at temp and heater core connected quickly touch the top heater core hose and then the bottom one if both are hot then heater core is not the problem if one is hot and the other is warmcold then heater core is blocked.
