Toyota Tundra Shifter Loose

There should be zero play on both.

Toyota tundra shifter loose. Its threaded on the inside. The lower gear shifter bushing will have to be replaced to remove the looseness of the gear shifter. You may have a broken shifter assembly and dont even know it.

Luckily I got it back in park by playing with it but now it is so loose that I cant get it to move at all. It literally screws on and off. So I went to the Google which told me my problem is worn out shifter bushings.

Remove blinkercruise control assembly in white using a large phillips screwdriver with two screws on top and one underneath. Just kind of wobbles around and its starting to bug me. No lock nut or anything like that eventually it will friction hold when tightening. One of which is a wicked sloppy shifter.
